French visual artist trained at the École Duperré in Paris, Sarah Philouze lived in New York for six years before settling in Mexico City in 2022. Her work merges a rigorous process with a sensitivity to patterns, both physical and immaterial, inspired by the study of natural phenomena. Composed of thousands of elements, her pieces explore molding and, more recently, glass techniques through repetition. By subverting scientific truth, she creates new narratives that challenge perception. Playing with color and replication, she generates movement and disorder, transforming objective data into visual and emotional experiences. Her work invites careful observation, revealing new layers of meaning.
