The work of Sarah Philouze results from the alliance between a rigorous process and a particular sensitivity to both the physical and immaterial patterns of nature. Originally from France, trained in applied arts at École Duperré, she began her career as a set designer. She established herself as a visual artist in New York, creating monochromatic pieces where she experiments with materials and forms, always close to natural phenomena but allowing abstraction to play a central role. After six years in the United States, she moved to Mexico City in 2022.
